Delhi Metro Phase-IV: Rithala-Kundli Corridor
On January 5, 2025, Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone for the 26.5 km Rithala-Kundli section of Delhi Metro Phase-IV, with an investment of approximately ₹6,230 crore. This corridor will connect Rithala in Delhi to Nathupur (Kundli) in Haryana, benefiting areas like Rohini, Bawana, Narela, and Kundli by improving access to residential, commercial, and industrial zones.
2. Sonipat Master Plan 2031
The Sonipat Master Plan 2031 outlines the city’s future growth, introducing new residential, commercial, and industrial sectors to ensure structured and sustainable expansion. The Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA) and private developers are actively involved in this transformative initiative.

Several residential projects are underway in Kundli, contributing to the area’s urbanization:
- NeoLiv and Royal Green Realty Collaboration: In mid-2024, NeoLiv partnered with Royal Green Realty to develop a 20-acre housing project in Kundli-Sonipat, with an estimated revenue potential exceeding ₹600 crore.
- TDI Tuscan Heights: Developed by Chopra Properties, this premium residential project spans 56 acres and offers modern amenities for comfortable living.
- Max Heights Dream Homes: Situated in Kundli, this project provides spacious 1 and 2 BHK apartments with essential conveniences.
4. Infrastructure Enhancements
The Haryana Town and Country Planning Department has proposed the Draft Development Plan for Kundli-2031, focusing on improving infrastructure such as roads, green belts, and public amenities to support the growing population.
These developments underscore Kundli’s emergence as a pivotal urban center in Haryana, offering enhanced connectivity, modern housing, and improved infrastructure to meet the needs of its residents.
